ASB Seasonal Office Administrative Assistant

May – August 2021

26 Hrs. Per week (8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide receptionist services

• Greet and assist farmers and others who arrive at the ASB Shop.

• ASB sales and invoicing.

• Answer phones and take messages.

• Direct calls and respond to inquiries.

• Perform other related duties as required.

2. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications Required:

- Strong organizational skills

- Attention to detail and good writing skills

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Proficient Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)

- Ability to work independently and in a team setting

4- and 5-Month POSITIONS AVAILABLE

ROADSIDE PESTICIDE APPLICATORS REQUIRED - The successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised and have a valid operator’s license. Class 3 air brake endorsement an asset. - Full safety & job training provided. - Safety minded – adhering to County’s safety policies and procedures. - Good attention to detail, dependable and able to follow directions. - Pesticide Applicator’s license and familiar with crops, and noxious weeds an asset. - Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
